Average-tester axis

It is the vector that passes through the average tester and the biplot origin, with the arrow pointing to higher mean values of the entries. This is an important concept in biplot analysis. It can help visualize:

1. The mean vs. stability of the entries

2. The discrimination vs. representativeness of the testers

This view is useful only when the gneotpye main effect (G) is sizable, say, is greater or equal to 20% of hte total G + GE. When G is too small, it would make no sense to select based on it.
