QTL identification - single trait in a single environment
This function is applicable to a QTL mapping dataset, i.e., a genotype-by-(marker+trait) two-way table. We will use a real barley QTL mapping data to illustrate the process of QTL identification using GGEbiplot. We will try to identify QTL for kernel weight (KW).
QTL identification is basically a multiple linear regression problem except that a target trait is selected as the dependent variable and all markers are as independent variables. The following steps are suggested for QTL identification using GGEbiplot:
